Three new Travel Centers opened doors last week

Last week, three new travel centers opened doors and added 105 new parking spaces. Two of the travel centers are located in U.S. and the third is located in Canada. The three Travel centers are property of the Pilot/Flying J company.

Flying J Canada, Inc. opened their newest Flying J Travel center, which can be found on Lord Selkirk Highway (MB-75) at 354 Voyageur Road, Ste. Agathe, Manitoba, Canada. Their newest addition is the 28^th company-operated travel center in Canada.

The travel center has five diesel lanes equipped with high-speed pumps. There are 34 truck parking spots for the travelers. There are also four showers, Western union, CAT Scale and Driver’s lounge to accommodate all the needs of driver on the road. In Flying J Travel center one can find a PJ Fresh, fast casual food offerings, including pizza, sandwiches, salads, home-style food and soups.

In the U.S., truck drivers can now take a rest in two new Pilot Travel Centers:

The first is the Pilot Travel Center 1049 on 2400 Holland Road, Suffolk, Virginia. The Travel center is equipped with six diesel lanes with high-speed pumps, Diesel Mobile Fueling, Gas Mobile Fueling, and two showers. There are a total of 18 truck parking spots, but currently there are no PRIME Parking Spaces. The drivers can use Driver’s lounge, CAT Scale and Western Union. There is also Dunkin Donuts with drive-thru and PJ Fresh with additional food offerings ranging from PJ Fresh pizza to home-style hot food. The second, bigger, Pilot Travel Center 1135 can be found on 1419 U.S. Highway 281, Falfurrias, Texas. It also is equipped with high-speed pumps on each of its six diesel lanes. A total of 54 truck parking spots makes it the biggest of the three new travel centers, but there are no PRIME Parking Spaces currently at the spot. There are three pilot showers for the drivers. Also, the place offers Dunkin Donuts Express, Western Union, Driver’s lounge and CAT Scale.
